This is a pattern for simple, layered crochet flowers with the minimum of sewing. They have button centres and their stalks are wooden skewers slid into the back of the crochet.

As well as a bouquet, the flowers could be used as brooches or decorations in all sorts of ways.

Instructions are also given for the single mini flowers with leaves which are worked in 4 ply yarn on a 2.5 mm hook.
