A great pattern for using up oddments of yarn; make it plain in one colour or jazz it up with stripes or embroidered embellishments.
Use a hook smaller than that recommended for your yarn weight so that you get a nice dense fabric. As a guide in Aran /worsted weight mine came out about 3” - 4”.
Use a machine washable yarn and stuffing if you’re making these for children to play with. The more you make the better they look. I used bright colours but these would look good in pastels too.
