Do you want a quick and easy crochet project? The Lelaina Scarf is the perfect quick make, suitable for beginners or the more experienced crocheter.

The idea behind this design came from the need for a light scarf during the transition from winter to spring. Functionality wasn’t the only reason, however, I believe it adds a touch of chicness to any outfit. This is a simple design using only single crochet, one of the most essential stitches to know. It can be crocheted in sport weight or fingering weight yarn, the latter resulting in a more delicate scarf. Crochet the edging in the same yarn or a contrasting yarn, the choice is yours.

I used 50g/130m of sport weight yarn with a 3.5mm hook or 50g/200m of fingering weight yarn with a 3.0mm hook.

Finished Measurements:
• Wingspan – 86cm/34”
• Length from centre of neckline to tip of the triangle – 11.5cm/4.5”

Blocking is recommended to open up the stitch work and to create a beautiful soft drape.

The pattern includes written, photo and video instructions so you can’t go wrong and there is no need to look elsewhere for explantions of techniques.
