Skye the teddybear – Amigurumi teddybear with wings crochet pattern

This is an amigurumi pattern, not the finished toy. You will get the pattern in pdf format after the payment is done.

The pattern is written in English and using US crochet terms.

The pattern is straight forward and easy to follow. There is lots of step by step images, especially on the special parts.

Removable wings with heart on the backside is included.

You need to know the basic crochet skill for amigurumi, especially how to work in rounds or spiral. Some examples of stitches; slip stitch, single crochet, increases and decreases.

You will find good instructions how to give the face a more depth and how to make the legs moveable with only yarn (if you don’t want to use security joints).

Materials required:
– Yarn – I used a cotton and acrylic blend DK weight yarn; Scheepjes Softfun. For the brownish yarn I used 1 skein (50 g) (Soft Mauve no. 2470) and for muzzle, feet and wings I used half of a skein of cream color (Latte no. 2622). (Note! If you using bigger hook, I would recommend to have at least 1 and a half skeins or 2 skeins of yarn of the main color.)
For the heart I used a thinner yarn; Drops Safran. (I recommend to use leftover yarn for the heart. If you use thicker yarn, skip the last round.)
– Crochet hook 2.5 mm
– Fibrefill / toy stuffing
– Security eyes, 10 mm
– Optional: security joints
– Optional: wire for the wings (furry wire that you can buy in hobby store works fine)
– Stitch markers, scissor and embroidery needle

Approx. 22 cm in height (standing up)
(Note! When using 2.5 mm crochet hook and the yarn Scheepjes Softfun.)
