SKILL LEVEL: Easy

GAUGE: Gauge is very important for proper sizing of the hat. Please take the time to check for proper gauge and adjust yarn or hook size as necessary. Hat, 14 hdc and 13 rows = 4” 10 cm worked in the round with smaller hook.
Cowl gauge, one motif equals 5½” square with larger hook.

SIZING: Cowl: One size fits most, 6” wide, 60” circumference

Hat: Sizes are approximate. Measure largest part of head horizontally along the forehead and above the ears. Recommended negative ease, ½-2”. Hats will stretch to fit the following sizes:

Extra small hat
Sized to fit 17¼ - 18¾” circumference (toddler/small child)
Finished size: 16¾” circumference, 9¼” in length plus 3” brim)

Small hat
Sized to fit 19”- 20½” circumference (child/tween)
Finished size: 18½” circumference, 9½” in length plus 3” brim
Medium hat

Sized to fit 20¾”- 22¼” circumference (small/medium adult)
Finished size: 20¼” circumference, 9¾” in length plus 3” brim

Large hat
Sized to fit 22¼”- 23¾” circumference (large/extra-large adult)
Finished size: 21¾” circumference, 10” in length plus 3” brim
