Crofter's Smock
This sweater is worked bottom up in the round. After a folded double cuff the sleeves are worked inside out in order to knit rather than purl. Sleeves and body are joined after the underarm and a seamless saddle yoke construction is worked for the upper body. Instructions for optional pockets are included.

33 ¾ (37 ½, 41, 44 ½, 48, 51 ½, 55 ¼, 58 ¾ ) in / 86 (95.5, 104, 113, 123, 131, 140.5, 149.5) cm at chest.
Shown in size 41in / 104cm with approx. 3 in / 7.5cm of positive ease.
Suggested ease is between 2-6 in / 5-15cm of positive ease.

US 8 / 5mm 32 or 40in / 80 or 100cm circular needle
US 8 / 5mm 24in / 60cm circular needle
US 8 / 5mm 16in / 40cm circular needle
US 8 / 5mm set of dpns (for small circumference in the round); alternatively use a long circular for magic loop
US 6 / 4mm 16in / 40cm circular needle (for neckband)
Yarn
Aran weight yarn in the following amounts:
950 (1050, 1150, 1250, 1350, 1450, 1550, 1650) yards
This yardage includes the pockets which use approx 75 -100 yards.
