A rhythmic interplay of shapes gives this stranded colorwork cowl its distinctive, modern look. Worked in the round from a provisional cast-on, the repeating motif creates a sense of movement as lines and angles intersect around the fabric. The seamless grafted finish allows the design to flow without interruption, and the soft drape makes it a versatile accessory for any season.

Choose high-contrast colors for a crisp, graphic effect, or softer tones for a more subtle play of light and shade.

You will need about 200 yards each for the 4-color version, or about 25-30 yards for each color repeat for the multi-version. Both pattern files are included.

This project is worked in the round and requires knitting knowledge including:

  • Provisional cast on
  • Reading charts
  • Stranded colorwork
  • Kitchener/grafting
  • Duplicate stitch
