This interesting textured pattern is a take off of the Indian Cross stitch, an elongated stitch pattern. The hem is worked back and forth on a garter stitch base, alternating a yarn-over row with an elongated-cross row, until the desired width is reached. Stitches are picked up along the garter stitch edge. The body of each side is then worked using the unique Crosshatch pattern. The sleeve caps are formed by decreases, creating a hybrid of a set-in sleeve crossed with a modified drop shoulder.
