Crossing Vest Top
“This top was inspired by pedestrian crossings, which in Swedish are called Övergångsställe,” says Emilia Jensen. “The stripes guide you across, taking you from one side to the other. The top is knitted in two directions, horizontal and vertical. The centre front and back are worked in a stripe pattern, then stitches are picked up around the sides of the centre piece to work the sides horizontally. Emilia’s pattern uses Debbie Bliss’s soft, smooth Piper yarn.
