Crossroads of Sutton
-30 off Cascade Ecological Wool & a Eco + at Mont Tricot. Pattern included with purchase of yarn to make it
**
The Crossroads of Sutton was inspired by my husband who is a crazy ultra-runner. He can run for hours and knows all the country roads of Sutton. When he returns from a run, Chulita, our pooch, is always waiting for him. In the spring and fall they can spend many evenings on the porch with a campfire as he winds down from his run. This blanket will be theirs, so they can sit and watch the stars and the moon together.
Pattern is both charted and written.
Yarn
3 skeins of Ecological wool from Cascade Yarns/ 11 skeins of Llama II from Illimani Yarns or approximately 1,150 yards of bulky weight yarn
Needles
8.0mm/US #11
Other
stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving, blocking pins.
Gauge
11sts X 18 rows = 4”
The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.
Size: The finished blanket is 48” X 68” blocked. If you wanted it wider you can easily add an extra cable band and garter stitch band.
“Crossroads of Sutton” fut inspiré par Gilles, l’ultra marathonier fou.
