An elegant lace yoke makes a simple tee look much more complex than it really is.
This tee is very easy to custom fit, thanks to the plain stockinette body. As long as your stitch count is the same as one of the sizes when you make it up to the yoke, you can adjust anything in the body very easily.

This is a fingering weight version of my Crown Tee. The patterns are very similar; the differences being that the row gauge is 8 rows to the inch for Crown Tee, and 8.5 rows to the inch for Hawthorne Crown Tee (both have 6 stitches to the inch). Also, Hawthorne uses ribbing at the hem and sleeves rather than the folded hems on Crown Tee, and Hawthorne is a little longer. Because the patterns are so closely related, when you buy one, both PDFs are included here on Ravelry.

What do you need to know to knit this?
You need to know how to work in the round, knit and purl, k2tog, k3tog, p2tog, yarn over, ssk, s2tog-k1-p2sso, and graft (or some other kind of seam to be used where the sleeve joins the body at the underarm). Nupps are optional and can be left out, or replaced with beads. It is up to you!
