Cruach
This design uses an easy mesh-stitch pattern, that is quick to hook, and allows the beautiful gradient finger weight yarn in sample 1 to shine. About 600m of any of the lovely gradient yarns available, would be suitable for this design.
Or use up your stash and make a bohemian shawl in a lightweight cotton yarn as in sample 2. Both samples from the same pattern!
Relaxing to crochet – one row repeat pattern that increases gently on each side. Finished shawl has a beautiful drape and generous wing span. Playful tassels add a touch of whimsy!
Size can be easily adjusted by crocheting less or more rows. Gauge is not important.
Experiment with yarn and hook to make your own shawl.
