DETAILS

The Csilla design was inspired by Shorn - a very special sheep-to-skein yarn produced by Melissa Littlefield of Knitting the Stash. While rustic in origin, Shorn is exceptionally soft and silky to the touch. It also gives off a subtle sheen which takes on different qualities depending on the angle from which the strands are observed. The starlike smocking motif of Csilla evolved to highlight these characteristics, and I love the way the pattern and the yarn interact.
