When I designed this shawl I had in mind something that could be made easily and quickly as a Mother’s Day gift. What better symbol of love than the heart? I used wool but why not use cotton for a light summer shawl, or silk for an elegant accessory to be used all year round!
Surprise a dear friend or a loved one, or make it simply for yourself.
The shawl is worked in two parts, two separate triangles which are simply sewn or grafted together at the end.
Each heart is worked separately and joined to the others while working its last round.
Pattern includes written instructions as well as close up photos of details.
