Curlicue Warmers may look naturally elegant but they are easy and satisfying to knit in any DK yarn or 4ply held together. Which yarn will you choose? Show what you make using #InnerWildKnits on Insta and in our Inner Wild dearheart group on Ravelry.

Use any DK yarn {or 4ply yarn held double} - the original Curlicue Warmers pictured used just over 50g of Wendy Merino DK merino wool yarn. You can make yours shorter using one ball or longer using two or more. Perhaps use yarn leftover from a sweater you have knitted to make matching Curlicue Warmers?

INNER WILD Curlicue Warmers

Curls of warm wool like the spirals of leaves about to unfurl, like shells on the beach, ferns uncurling; nature’s curlicue pattern repeats here too in a simple cable stitch to grace your wrists and fingers.

Feel the soft snugness of twisting cables around your wrist, the stretch of flowing curlicues across your knuckles. Bliss.

INNER WILD knitting patterns capture exactly how I made various Inner Wild designs so you can make them yourself.

It feels good to have space in our lives for growth and expansion and making something new in the world is so fulfilling. So while I’ve written this pattern showing you exactly how I made the original item at the same time I encourage you to loosen up, free your creativity and let your individuality shine.
