This is an Extra large stocking knit just for you because you’ve been Extra good this year! Measuring about 30 inches from cuff to toe this mammoth stocking is a clear message to the household that says “Sorry little Timmy, Momma wins this year.”
To make this stocking for Santa’s little angel, you’ll need about 200 yards of the contrasting color, and 220 of the main color. Just make sure you select something with a strong contrast between the background and foreground to let the colorwork stand out.
If for any bizarre reason you should want a stocking that wasn’t of absurd proportions, you can alter the pattern by simply stopping at row 42 in chart B and marking the heel there. You’ll end up with an adorably plump stocking that’s approximately 20” from cuff to toe.
