Cute hat with options for customization!

This written pattern is in a size Small. Each size is five stitches larger (or smaller) than the size before it. If you need to make an extra small or extra large hat just add (or subtract) and inch or five stitches. This pattern gives you the option of using a foundation chain or foundation double crochet. This pattern also gives you the option of making “messy bun” or ponytail beanies.

Hook: 4.5 mm

Yarn: Medium or Sport weight yarn, plus a complementary mohair accent color. You can double up on Fingering Weight too if that’s what you’ve got on hand. As shown above I used a matching mohair that has a sparkling silver thread.

Sizing:
Small - 21-22 inches (53-55 cm) circumference
Medium - 22-23 inches (55-58cm) circumference
Large - 23-24 inches (58-61 cm) circumference
