The inspiration for the Daboecia shawl comes from the evergreen heathers, adorned with bell-shaped flowers in hues of various pinks or purple, blooming on delicate stems.

The Daboecia shawl is designed to use up those odd fancy skeins from your stash. A skein of hand-dyed yarn can be paired with a skein of commercial yarn.

The diverse range of techniques - mosaic, knit and purl, and lace patterns - ensures you stay engaged. This heart-shaped shawl features extended wings that allow the top edge to curve gracefully around the shoulders, making it easier for the shawl to stay securely in place.

The yarns used for the sample:
MC Colosco Wool & Fibers, Cuco, #Follarasca
CC Black Elephant, Merino Silk Fingering, #pink/beige
