Knit, cuddle and love this waddle of sweet characters. With this knitting pattern you can make your own Daddy Mallard and two baby Ducklings, they make “quacking” springtime decorations. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, these toys are knit flat in acrylic DK weight yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES:
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6).

RECOMMENDED YARN:
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 25g in each colour

NOTIONS:
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and domed black half shank buttons for eyes.

SIZES:
One size only - Daddy Mallard is 13cm long x 15cm tall, and each Duckling is 9cm long x 10cm tall.

TECHNIQUES:
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
