If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already know this, but this past fall my husband and I moved up to New England and bought our dream house! We got to enjoy a colorful autumn and a cozy winter together in our new home. The previous owners of the house left us with a hand-drawn map of the garden they lovingly planted in the front yard, so I have been waiting on pins and needles for winter to be over so I could see all the different plant babies! As I was finishing up this knitting pattern, the first flowers of the spring began to emerge -- the loveliest daffodils you ever did see. Their coloration is so similar to the yarn featured in this shawl that I had to name my newest design after these special blooms that are so close to my heart.

My favorite thing about this design is the unique, angular construction that is so easy to style and wear! The summery, lightweight yarn ensures a beautiful drape. I used Hobbii Twister in the colorway “Yellow Snapdragon,” and I highly recommend it! It’s a soft blend of cotton and acrylic, which is breathable as well as durable. There are over 40 stunning colorways to choose from in Hobbii’s online shop, not to mention the solid color and glitter styles!
