Daggry sweater
This is my favourite crochet sweater. The yoke is gorgeous! The Daggry sweater is made top-down and that makes it easy to adjust to your body. First you will make the yoke in rows and join it in the back of the sweater. It is a bit taller in the back than in the front and is shaped with short rows. The rest of the sweater is made in a continous spiral and you can make it as long or short as you prefer. Rib-edging for sleeves and body are made separately and sewn to sweater .
Yarn: 7 (7) 7 (8) 8 (9) skeins of Semilla melange (100 % wool), (175 m/50 g)
Gauge, measured in hdc in back loop only: 13 rows, 22 hdc in blo = 10 cm
Recommended hook: 3,5 mm
Sizes: XS (S) M (L) 1XL (2XL)
Circumference at chest: 85 (93) 104 (114) 125 (138) cm, length 45 cm (a bit longer in the back).
You might want to make the sweater longer especially in the larger sizes - get a few extra skeins of yarn to make sure you have enough.
The shown sweater is a size M. I designed the sweater to be wide and loose fitting. If you prefer a tighter fit, choose a size smaller than you would normally wear.
The pattern is available in english (US terms).
It is available in danish in the book “Hækletøj” (get it at sidselsangild.dk).
