Becoming the beat reporter for features and being called “an unflinchingly honest reviewer who shows no mercy, but a great deal of dark wit in her pieces” after writing a scathing review of a school ballet production, Rory eventually becomes the new Editor-in-Chief after the staff declares mutiny on current editor Paris Geller.
