Knit in this lovely 4 ply weight Alpaca yarn, this shawl is easy yet fun to knit, and really cosy to wear. The pattern could of course be easily adapted to different weights of yarn, in which case the yarn quantities and needle size would have to be adjusted.

Pattern note: the side increases on rows 11 & 12 are worked this way to make sure that the eyelets are exactly the same size on each side of the shawl and the same size as the other eyelet side increases - yfrn and yrn create very slightly different size holes which become obvious over a large piece of work, but you can work the incs this way if you prefer!
