I wanted to design a very simple black and silver bead crochet bangle, that could go from day to night easily, but I made a mistake. This is one of my best mistakes ever. The result if a black and silver bangle that is completely asymmetrical. It employs both size #8 and #11 seed beads giving the unique look a dimensionality.
Included in the instructions are: (1) The loading pattern (2) A mini-tutorial on how to do the slip stitch method of bead crochet (3) Instructions on how to change yarns, if you make a mistake or want to make it shorter or longer and (4) A written explanation and instructions for the invisible join.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of bead crochet, which can be learned from the mini tutorial).
This bangle is crocheted 12-around and is finished with the invisible join. The preferred crochet cotton to use is Lizbeth #20 which can be found at Handy Hands, online, and the bangle uses well under one ball to make.
