Knitted from the toe up!

Lace “shell” pattern, with chart. Each round patterned, no “knit all stitches” rounds.

Attention:
If you knit the chart as it is, the pattern will be two stitches off-centered, and you will not have a (p) stitch on each of the pattern sides on the top of the foot.
If you start on stitch number 2 (k), and add the first (p) stitch at the end of the chart repeat instead, not only will the pattern be more centered, you will also not need to end on a yarnover in the first round, and you can start each needle with a k stitch if you knit them on dp’s.
