Dance of the Honeybees
♫ The Music ♫
The Dance of the Honeybees: As you might imagine the tune – a strathspey – is a lively tune that will surely get your toes a-dancing!
A modified Judy’s Magic Cast On leads into a wide toe for these toe-up socks. For the foot, the instep is worked in pattern while the sole is worked in Stockinette stitch. The short-row heel cap means there are no stitches to pick up and the heel flap is worked in the Eye of Partridge stitch pattern. Both the front and back leg are worked in the instep pattern and are then topped off with ‘bee hive’ ribbing rounds.
Both charts and written directions for charts are provided.
