Dance With Me Skirt is knit from the top down and features an easy to knit lace pattern and reverse stockinette kick-pleats.

Because of its top-down construction, you can easily shorten or lengthen the skirt to customize it, just perfect for your height and/or taste.

Yarn: DK weight hemp, linen or linen/mix yarn 
1100 (1200, 1300, 1400)(1500, 1550, 1600) yds/1005 (1100, 1190, 1280)1370, 1420, 1465 m for a skirt that is approx. 34” in length. 
I knit the sample in one of my favorite yarns, Allhemp6, but as long as you have a yarn that knits at the stated gauge, you can easily substitute the yarn.

Needles: U.S. 6 (4mm) circular needles - 32” use the size needle that gets gauge with the specific yarn you are using!

Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle, 1”/2.5 cm wide elastic band (for waist band), safety pin to thread elastic through waistband.
