CONSTRUCTION
Dances with Leaves is knit flat and then sewn together upon completion. Starting at the neck with ribbing, the poncho is increased to shoulder width and you then start the lace pattern. The pattern is written with both charted and written instructions for the lace.
This is an ideal first pattern if you are looking to start in lace, as it is not too demanding and has great impact. If you can knit stitches together and do yarn overs, you are good to go.
