This very easy pattern includes directions for both weights of yarn, chunky and worsted. I used James C. Brett Marble DK for the pink one, and Marble Chunky for the purple one, but any self-striping yarn will do.

I like how the pattern creates diamonds or a kind of mitered square look with self-striping yarn, and I like the color combinations that result.

Both of the blankets pictured have been donated to charity.
