The cover is worked in the round from the bottom up to the ribbed collar, which opens wide to make it easy to put the hot water bottle inside. The cover is seamed at the base. The dragon design is worked on both sides of the cover, which fits a standard sized rubber hot water bottle insert.

Most Aran or even worsted weight yarns are suitable. The cozy requires approx. 200 yds or 180m of soft yarn and 8 beads for the eyes.

These dragons won’t bite, but will provide warmth and comfort.
