Dancing on Air Throw

Butterflies and dragonflies have long been symbols of transformation, hope, and the magic found in nature. Dancing on Air combines these graceful creatures with flowing Celtic knotwork to create an elegant heirloom throw that celebrates beauty, renewal, and imagination.

In Celtic tradition, butterflies are often seen as symbols of rebirth, transformation, and the soul’s journey.

Dragonflies, sometimes called the tiny dragons of the faerie realm, represent wisdom, creativity, clear vision, and self-realization. Together they seem to dance effortlessly across this richly detailed design, bringing a sense of movement and serenity to the finished blanket.

This oversized throw is knit in one piece, with the Celtic motifs, butterflies, dragonflies, and border all worked together as you knit.

The pattern is fully charted and is intended for knitters who enjoy working from charts.
