I love the Dancing Ribbon Cable from Barbara Walker’s Charted Knitting Designs and this was an opportunity to feature it in an Aran sweater. The Dancing Ribbon cable is worked with two cable needles, but is easy to work once you get the hang of it.
Level of Experience: Intermediate
Sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL
Finished measurements:
Width at chest: 18½ (20½, 22½, 24½, 26½)“
Length to underarm: 15 (16, 17, 17, 18)”
Sleeve length to underarm: 18 (17, 17, 16, 16)“
Materials:
1400 (1600, 1800, 2000, 2200) yds any yarn which knits
to the specified gauge. Sample done in Debbie Bliss
Merino DK (100% merino wool, 120 yds/50g skein)
US sizes #3 (3¼ mm) circ and dp ndls and #5 (3¾ mm) circ
and dp ndls or size required to obtain gauge

Gauge: 22 sts and 28 rows = 4” over Double Interrupted Rib st on US size #5 (3¾ mm) needles
