The Dancing Spirits cardi has a romantic style and an elegance of times gone by. Simple lace stitches and delicate cables decorate the yoke in a harmonious and refined way and make it fun to knit.
The cardigan is worked back and forth from the top down with a circular yoke, gradual increases are made in the yoke until you reach the sleeves which will be put on hold on a stitch holder or waste yarn and then picked up later. To make it easier to read the pattern, a single chart is followed in the yoke and the increases are “camouflaged” in the design. This way there will be no seams.
Sleeves are worked in rounds.
Dancing Spirits comes in 10 sizes (from 89 to 179 cm 35 to 70.5 “ bust circumference).
The size guide and the table on PDF will help you choose the fit you prefer.
We used a special alpaca yarn, this yarn is thin but “fills” the knitting and gives the garment a soft and refined appearance and at the same time makes it comfortable and light like a veil.

Needles and notions
Circular needles 3.5, 4 mm and 4.5mm / US 4, 6 and 7 (cables 40, 60 and 100 cm 16, 24 and 40“ )
Cast on the neck with the shorter cable and then switch to the longer cable as you increase stitches. Use 60 cm 24” for sleeves and 100 40” for body.

YARN: “Alpaca Haze” by MODE at ROWAN:
(58% alpaca, 22% wool, 20% polyamide)

Il golfino Dancing Spirits ha uno stile romantico e un’eleganza d’altri tempi. Semplici punti traforati e delicate trecce decorano lo sprone, per un insieme armonioso, raffinato e divertente da lavorare.
Questo modello è lavorato in piano dall’alto verso il basso con sprone rotondo, si eseguono degli aumenti graduali nello sprone fino ad arrivare alle maniche che verranno messe in sospeso su un filo per poi essere riprese successivamente. Per facilitare la lettura del modello nello sprone si segue un unico schema e gli aumenti sono “mimetizzati” nel disegno.
Le maniche, riprese successivamente, sono lavorate in tondo.
Con questo metodo non ci sono cuciture.
Nel pattern sono disponibili 10 taglie da 89 a 179 cm di circonferenza busto, la guida alle taglie e la tabella nel PDF ti aiuteranno a scegliere la vestibilitá che preferisci.
Abbiamo usato un filato speciale in alpaca, questo filato è sottile ma “riempie” molto la lavorazione e dona al capo un’aspetto soffice e raffinato e allo stesso tempo lo rende confortevole e leggero come un velo

Ferri circolari 3.5 e 4 mm. (cavi 40, 60 e 100 cm)
Inizia dal collo con il cavo più corto e poi aumentalo gradualmente mano a mano che aumenti le maglie. Usa il cavo da 60 per le maniche e il cavo da 100 per il corpo.
