During WWII many of the young men and women were displaced by war. Many of them were forced from their homes in the city to new homes located in the country. US 7 (4.5mm) needles

Finished Size
Approximately 8 in. by 40 in. after blocking.

Gauge
31sts and 24 rows = 4” in Pattern Stitch. If your gauge is not that given here, try a smaller or larger needle until you obtain this gauge. If you have to use a different size needle from that called for, it will not in any way alter the garment provided you knit 19 stitches every 4 inches.
