Danebury hat
The Danebury hat is a slightly slouchy hat worked in aran-weight yarn with a stranded colourwork pattern. With its closely spaced dot pattern, the hat is knitted for warmth. I knitted it in the round in my own handspun yarn, using about 55 g white and about 20 g brown, but any aran-weight yarn giving the same tension would work.
One adult/teen size is given. The hat measures about 22 cm from hem to crown, with a circumference of about 50 cm. The tension is 19 st x 22 rounds to 10 x 10 cm; I used 6 mm needles.
