Daniel and the Lions' Den
With this crochet pattern, you can make the Bible story of Daniel and the Lions’ Den come to life. Kids love to use toys to act out the stories they’re learning, and this set pairs perfectly with a children’s Bible. This pattern includes the directions to make both Daniel and lions with three optional positions (standing, sitting, and lying down), with plenty of photos to guide you along the way. The finished toys are between 6.5-7.5” tall.
You’ll need the yarn colors pictured (worsted/aran weight), a size US E/3.5mm crochet hook, safety eyes, a stitch marker, a yarn needle, stuffing, and an intermediate crochet skill level (ambitious beginners too!).

I am a firm believer that children flourish with plenty of opportunities for creativity. When you give a child the toys you have handmade from these patterns, you are giving tools for story-telling, dramatic play, understanding character, and more!
Patterns are written in US crochet terminology and are meant for the intermediate crocheter.
