This new design of Meg Swansen’s is for a hip-length, 3/4 sleeved, scooped-neck pullover.

The light, airy motif is negative-imaged at the lower edges of sleeves and body, and the wool Meg used, Blackberry Ridge (Cream and Pale Iris), is soft enough to wear next to your skin. The sweater is worked up from the lower edge, with a slightly inset, steeked armhole and a deep scooped neck. The sleeves are knitted down from the armhole with an optional shaped sleeve-cap detail.
