A pretty, lacy, rectangular wrap designed to celebrate the first diamond of the season, Daphne Bridgerton. When blocked, the lace opens out into sparkly diamonds.

This is a written pattern, with instructions included in both UK and US terms.

The sample was made with fingering/4ply yarn (2x100g skeins) held together with fine sparkly thread. It can also be made with sparkly fingering/4ply (yarn that has added stellina so that it is already sparkly). You will need either 800m each of fingering and sparkly thread, or 800m of fingering. The size can be adjusted as desired, but will affect yarn quantities required.

Blocking is essential to show off the lacy diamonds. It isn’t essential to achieve the exact gauge, but any difference may affect the yarn required.

This pattern is suitable for confident, advanced beginners up, able to work to a consistent tension.
