Note on the yarn: The published pattern calls for Kia Ora Rimu by Zealana, which the magazine has characterized as worsted weight. The yarn has undergone a rebranding since then; The Yarn Sisters (the source mentioned in the magazine) has assured me that the Zealana Performa Rimu DK linked here is the same yarn.

Materials
- 6 (7, 8, 10, 11, 13) skeins Kia Ora Rimu by Zealana, 60% New Zealand merino, 40% New Zealand possum, (140 yds/40 g) in color A and one skein in color B
- U.S. size 7 (4.5 mm) needles, or size required for gauge
- U.S. size 6 (4mm) set of 2 DPNs (optional)
- Stitch markers
- Yarn needle
- U.S. size G-6 (4.25mm) crochet hook
Gauge
20 sts and 28 rows = 4” (10 cm) in St st using larger needles
Buttons are knitted using I-cord technique.
