The Darling Mermaids Hat pattern is a colorwork beanie knit in the round using sport weight yarn. There are two sizes listed in the pattern, 19”/ 48cm and 22”/ 56cm in circumference.

The hat is partially lined. Pom Poms or tassels are optional. I have a pom pom picture tutorial in my Flickr. Username: Wonderfallz, Set: Pom Pom and icord Tutorial. I do not have a tutorial for tassels nor do I include instructions. Pinterest is full of tassel tutorials if you need to learn how to make them.

The yardage in sport weight yarn is as follows:
150 yards/ 137 meters motif color (the example used brown)
220 yards/ 201 meters background color (the example used blue)
