Darling Pincushion: A Color Study

This is a perfect small project for testing out color choices! Featuring a darling flower motif, with reverse colorways; on one side the motif is dark and on the other the motif is light! Its always fun to see how different the pattern looks just by doing a simple swap!

Pattern includes charts for 5 different colorways to get you started!

Shetland 2 ply jumperweight wool is used and the pattern gives the colors used in both Jamieson’s of Shetland and Jamieson and Smith. You don’t need much yarn!

Though designed for using Shetland Wool, any yarn can be used, just choose a needle size to match.

Not just for pins! Fill it with lavender for a sachet, or catnip for a toy. Don’t stuff it and use as a coaster!

PS! I’ve also made it in super bulky yarn for a pillow!
Loopy Mango, Merino No. 5, in Spicy Hot Pink
Wool and the Gang, Crazy Sexy Wool, in Rocky Grey
US 19 needles.
