My husband wanted a new winter hat with the stipulation that I design it. When he tried it on and said “Luke, I am your Fa-ther”, we knew it needed to be named after the Dark Lord himself…Darth Vader. I’ve worked it in two different yarns and needle sizes with the same cast on number. “How does THAT even work?!?!”, you may wonder. The twisted rib gives this hat extra elasticity and will fit a wide range of head sizes. The Chunky version is more fitted; the Bulky version is more dense and “stiff”, so it has a looser fit. Either way, you’re guaranteed a snuggly hat. May the force be with you.
