A simple lace motif takes on a bold modern appearance when worked in oversized yarn in Dash Panel. I find something comforting about working the same few rows over and over again and ending up with a whole that is somehow more than the sum of its parts. If you’re wondering about the name, it comes from the video game Mario Kart. In the game there are strips with arrows on them embedded in the ground, and when you drive over them, they make your car go superfast! They’re called Dash Panels—hence the name for this project.

Yarn Color: Pine Grove
Notions: Tapestry Needle

Pattern can be worked entirely from written instructions or with supporting charts.
