Daytripper Cardigan
In 2017 Mary Jane published a pattern for a pullover she called Stopover. Stopover is a sweater you could knit in a week, or even a weekend, perhaps even on a stopover in Iceland, halfway between North America and Europe.
Knitters have wondered since then: wouldn’t it be nice to have a cardigan employing Stopover’s wondrous gauge shift? This is it. With a simple steek (truly simple, and we’ll hold your hand), the delicious loftiness of Stopover is now available as a cardigan, with a fresh colorwork yoke that echoes the original but takes it in a new direction. Buttoned or buttonless, the choice is yours. See you in a few days, in your new cardi.
