This romantic lightweight tee was inspired by the Regency era and the iconic characters Elizabeth and Darcy from Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. When I read Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice in university, I was hooked. I love that both are fallible. I love that they recognize their mistakes. And I adore a happy ending.

This is a drop shoulder design with boat neck and short sleeves. The colourwork section is knit in the round. After the sleeve separation it will be worked in flat stockinette stitch. Front and back are knit the same, which makes the sweater is reversible.

Size 3 was knit for sample. Other sizes will require repeats of charts or omission of charts to achieve the correct number of stitches. There are six 42-stitch charts and one 21-stitch chart. You get to decide which charts to include, which to repeat, and in which order. Shoulders are joined with the 3-needle bind off.

This sweater is designed to fit with 4-15 inches (10-37.5 cm) positive ease.
