Dear Prudence is named for my friend’s baby.

Prudence was born a few months early, and her mother asked if I could make her a hat to come home from the hospital.

I designed this hat to look like flower petals from the brim and the adult version has two rows of those petals.

Knit with 1 thread of Land Cloud Fingering Weight and 1 thread of a silk/cashmere blend to have a slight shimmer.
