I am OBSESSED with the old school crochet lesson of the granny square - I’ve got several patterns in my shop that take it just one step further, and make a new attempt at an old classic. This square was no exception. I wanted to take the whole thing apart and put it back together in an entirely new way - deconstructed!

While I was joining these deconstructed motifs, I honestly just couldn’t decide which color gradient I liked best - so I did both! Once I had that many finished pieces, I figured I might as well keep them and make a larger project out of it… And once assembled, the name “Windowpane Pillow” was glaringly obvious!
