I have recently been admiring the simplicity and sleek shapes in Italian design. My new patterns, Nautilo and Decorati reflect this inspiration, and are the first designs in a series which will be coming in the next few months. Hope you enjoy these!

Decorati
This design is a light play on latte art ~ an easy heart-shape shawl with a narrow mosaic border, worked from the top down and begun without a garter stitch tab. The pattern is suitable for yarn weights from fingering to aran; be sure to adjust yardage requirements when substituting yarns. Note that the mosaic border is worked only from charts.

Materials used for sample (weighs 119g):
Garnstudio Drops Flora
2 skeins Brown (89g – 75% of total used)
1 skein Off White (30g – 25% of total used)

Pattern is written in American terminology.
