Yarn and Materials –
 1 skein Cloud Forest Yarns 100g 4ply yarn. (Sample uses SILK in Ye Olde Golde)
 4mm and 3.5mm circular needles on 60cm cable.
 Stitch marker.
 Darning needle to sew up.

Sizing –
This cowl is approx. 33cm deep with a bottom circumference of 94cm and a top circumference of 60cm once blocked.

Gauge –
Approx. 26st X 30rows for 10 cm square on 4mm needles.

Abbreviations –
St/Sts – Stitch / Stitches.
K1 / P1 – Knit one stitch / Purl one stitch.
M – marker.
R – round.
* - sts between ’s are repeated to the end of the round.
Yo – yarn over - wrap yarn around right needle once to create extra stitch.
CDD – central double decrease – slip 2 sts together knitwise, knit next st, pass slipped sts over knitted stitch and off needle. 3 sts decreased to 1.
K2tog – knit 2 sts together knitwise. 2 sts decreased to 1.
P2tog – purl 2 sts together purlwise. 2 sts decreased to 1.
SSK – slip, slip, knit – slip 1 st knitwise, slip 1 st purlwise, knit 2 slipped sts together through the back loop.

Pattern Notes –
This cowl is knitted in-the-round on circular needles. It is tapered to give a perfect drape around the neck.
