A long, shallow crescent shawl can double as a scarf, gently shaped to curve around your neck and shoulders. Easy garter stitch knitting gets a lift with a simple lace rib stitch pattern.

NEEDLES and NOTIONS
24–40” circular needle, size 4 (3.5 mm) or size to obtain gauge
Stitch marker
GAUGE
20 sts and 28 rows = 4” in Garter stitch
17 sts and 25 rows = 4” in Lace Rib pattern
22 sts and 28 rows = 4” in St st
To save time, take time to check gauge.
NOTE
The Delphin Shawl is knit from side to side, with the Garter Stitch and Lace Rib worked simultaneously. Stitches are increased and decreased in the Garter Stitch at the Lace Rib edge to give the wrap its crescent shape.
